What are they for?

Main types of Insurance and their objectives:

Term Insurance – Purely death protection needs

Whole Life Insurance – Death protection & Savings needs

Endowment Insurance – Mainly for Savings needs

Investment-Linked Insurance – Mainly for Investment needs

Annuities – Protection against outliving ones resources
